Cars in Singapore are inspected every two years from age 3 to 10, and every year after 10 ; cars under 3 years need no periodic inspection ([LTA](https://onemotoring.lta.gov.sg/content/onemotoring/home/owning/ongoing-car-costs/inspection.html)). The inspection covers structure, wheels and tyres, brakes, steering, body, lights and the exhaust's emission and noise.
